About FSP
Our Mission
Friends Supporting Parents (FSP) consists of a group of parents who have experienced the loss of a baby whether it be from miscarriage, still birth, or infant loss. We provide parents with an environment that offers comfort and reassurance as they deal with the loss of their baby. We are an out-reach program of volunteer parents who work in a group setting and one-on-one. It should be noted that although we may not be professional counseling service or related to any church denomination, the parents in the group have experienced this horrible loss and are uniquely qualified to help new parents work through their grief.
Monthly Grief
Support Meeting
Friends Supporting Parents invites you to our monthly support group for individuals 18+ coping with infant loss, stillbirth, or miscarriage of any gestational age, regardless of how long ago your loss occurred. Join us to share in a no-judgement atmosphere that welcomes all beliefs, backgrounds, and perspectives. Our May, June, and December meetings focus on Mother's Day, Father's Day, and the winter holidays — times that can be especially hard for loss parents. Meetings are peer-led by loss parents who understand this journey firsthand, open to the public, with no registration or cost to join.

Annual Service of Remembrance
Once a year, we gather to remember and celebrate the children we carry in our hearts, and long to carry in our arms. For many families, this service becomes an anchor — a place to return to, year after year, to honor the child(ren) they carry with them always. Our Service of Remembrance is held every October, during Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, at Grace Christian Church. Please check our calendar and social media for updates.
