Grief support can come from many places.
These are a few resources our community has found helpful.

Faces of Loss, Faces of Hope – Putting a face on miscarriage, stillbirth and infant loss.
Hand – Helping After Neonatal Death. Healing Hearts, Baby Loss Comfort – General grief, miscarriage, full term loss, stillbirth, infertility and SIDS.
Mothers in Sympathy and Support (MISS) – Miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, memorials, father support, grandparent support, sibling support, medical research and resources.
SHARE – Miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, memorials, subsequent pregnancy support and medical resources.

Postpartum Support International – Has a dedicated section for loss and grief in pregnancy/postpartum, plus bereavement coordinators and online support groups.
PLIDA – Pregnancy Loss and Infant Death Alliance– National alliance connecting families and professionals; strong resource-navigation hub.

Child Loss Foundation – supports parents grieving the death of a child with resources, connection and guidance as they navigate their individual grief journey.

In 2018 the state of Michigan made it possible for parents to receive a tax credit even though they have experienced a stillbirth. Mention this to your tax professional for more information. The last page of this PDF has additional information.
The TEARS Foundation – Financial assistance for funeral/burial or cremation expenses for babies 20 weeks gestation up to 1 year old, plus emotional support groups and peer companions.
Colette Louise Tisdale Foundation – Financial assistance with funeral costs (cremation or burial), grief counseling, lost income, and transportation costs.
Hayden's Helping Hands – Financially assists parents with medical expenses after the birth of a stillborn baby, up to $1,000 per application for stillbirths at 20+ weeks gestation.

Refrigerated Cooling Cots
For families who wish to have more time with their baby after they have passed, a cooling cot can be placed at the parent's bedside. Cooling the baby helps to preserve their appearance and condition for an extended amount of time, allowing families the opportunity to spend priceless time with their children. Photography services such as Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep offer professional portraiture at no cost to parents. They also offer photo retouching as well as photography training courses for nurses. -
Still Birthday – Support for families for birth in any trimester with any outcome.
Carrying To Term – a support and education resource for families facing a prenatal diagnosis of a life-limiting condition. Offers evidence-based information, birth planning tools, personal stories, and compassionate guidance to help parents make informed decisions and create meaningful experiences with their babies during pregnancy and after loss. The organization emphasizes non-directive support, meaning it aims to provide information and support without directing families toward a particular decision.
TFMR Mamas – offers support groups and resources to help this community feel supported and not alone. “A 'decision' made with the most love and the biggest heartbreak".”

Pregnancy After Loss Support– Online support group specifically for navigating pregnancy after a loss, which complements your existing general-support links well.
PALS – Pregnancy After Loss Support – Nonprofit specifically supporting mothers pregnant again after a loss, offering peer connection, provider education, community awareness, and an app for parents conceiving after loss.
Postpartum Support International – Loss & Grief – Family Support Packets for bereaved parents, grandparents, and siblings, plus dedicated resources for pregnancy after loss.
Star Legacy Foundation – Offers a free two-part course and a free virtual support group specifically for families pregnant after a loss.
RTZ HOPE – Pregnancy After Loss groups – Runs 6-week online support groups specifically for pregnancy after loss and parenting after loss, in addition to their general bereavement support.

Resolve Through Sharing (RTS) – The most established bereavement training program in this field; over 65,000 nurses, physicians, chaplains, and social workers trained since 1981, with core courses in perinatal, neonatal/pediatric, and adult death.
AWHONN – Perinatal Bereavement Certificate Program – Continuing education from the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, offering nursing contact hours and evidence-based training on compassionate perinatal loss care.
PLIDA – Pregnancy Loss and Infant Death Alliance – Already on your general list, but also a key professional hub: offers continuing education, practice guidelines, and networking specifically for perinatal/neonatal bereavement care providers.
RTZ HOPE – Provider Education – CE-accredited courses (approved for RNs and social workers) covering grief-informed care, pregnancy after loss counseling, and culturally sensitive support for perinatal loss.

Sibling & Grandparent Support
SHARE – offers dedicated grandparent resource packets, annual grandparent events, and children's grief brochures/book lists for helping siblings understand the loss.
Star Legacy Foundation – Grandparent & Sibling Groups – Free virtual support groups specifically for grandparents/extended family, and a separate group for surviving siblings, facilitated by trained mental health professionals.
MISS Foundation – offers Family Support Packets tailored to bereaved parents, grandparents, and siblings.
Bereaved Parents of the USA – National peer-support network with dedicated chapters and resources for siblings and grandparents, not just parents.

Hannah’s Prayer – Christian support for miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death and fertility challenges.
The Morning (The Joyful Mourning) – Podcast, free online community, and grief support for women after pregnancy or infant loss, offering resources tailored to specific loss types plus 1-on-1 coaching and grief workshops.
Children of Jannah – a Muslim charity that provides faith-based bereavement support, counseling, educational resources, and community programs for parents and families coping with the loss of a child.
Empty Arms Bereavement Support – provide peer support, educational resources, remembrance programs, and guidance rooted in Jewish values and traditions.
